ALLY REEVES:Curriculum Vitae

CURRENTLY

I am currently enrolled in the Graduate of Fine Arts program at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA. I earned my bachelors in Fine Arts with a concentration in sculpture from Austin Peay State Univ. in Clarksville, TN in Dec. 2003.  I am in my third and final year of the Masters of Fine Arts program at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA.  Conceptually, my work expands and explores the roles of artists and other cultural institutions, placing emphasis on artwork which is collaborative and communicative. Structurally, I am experimenting with mobile art, museum display and exhibition design, as well as work whose focus is relational and performative in nature.

I am currently exploring grants and residencies to aid in the development and visibility of my practice.
